My personal work tends toward things that allow me to explore with my family and get away from my desk. I studied oil and Japanese brush painting in college and though that holds a special place in my heart I have been experimenting with other forms of expression. I now enjoy photography and by extension photogrammetry. I have been using carpentry and 3d printing as ways to customize my home and make new things with my son. I have been trying my hand at blacksmithing both as a way to fulfill a childhood dream and as a way to remember my father and his metal work as an engineer.
